Dracula 2012 3D!!! Giuro, il film si chiama così... Parliamo di una produzione indiana, la Akash Films, con Vinayan alla macchina da presa. Le riprese si sono svolte in due location. La prima direttamente in Romania per i primi 15 giorni, poi il set si è spostato a Ambalapuzha, dove ci sono voluti altri 25 giorni per confezionare questa perla. Il Dracula proposto da Vinayan è una via di mezzo fra Zorro, Alberto Tomba e Silvan, con un'aria così tamarra che se dovesse incrociare il Dracula-Don Matteo di Argento se lo magnerebbe in pausa pranzo come un salatino. Riduttivo quindi chiamarlo come tutti i suoi colleghi principi della notte...è Dracula...è Tamarro...il suo nome è TARRULA!!! Il buon Tarrula si differenzia dai precedenti Conti anche per il suo colorito lampadato e l'addome da Fitboxing... sono certo che in qualche parte del corpo ha anche un tribale come tatuaggio ma preferisco non indagare. Lui non morde, mozzica, lui non conquista le donne... le sdruma!!!».

While 3D technology looked good, the story and the content of Dracula is not really appealing. With a story which never make much sense, and clichéd dialogues, with average acting Dracula 2012 3D can be termed as an amateurish attempt to rely on the technology with out any credible script. The film talk about a couple Roy (Sudheer) and Lucy (Priya) who visits Bran Castle in Romania for their honeymoon. And his adventures to go wild into the castle, forced him to beacmae the new Dracula. After some more incidents Dracula fly back to Kerala. Here he got enough pretty ladies for his thrust of blood. And soon he found Meena (Monal Gajar) and for her previously he turned as a vampire. She gave up her life thinking that her original Dracula is no more. The real fact is that the Dracula looked unintentionally funny with some real unwanted situations and some painful dialogues. Though the climax looked like a ‘Manichithrathazhu’, did not quite appeal either. The characterisation is the real painful stuff from late Thilakan, Prabhu, to Priya Nambiar all will keep the audience in disbelief. The direction by Vinayan really did not leaves up-to the expectations, the intention to use the technology is appreciable, however I did not really able to understand what really Vinayan tried to convey through this story line. The camera of Sathish.G looks fantastic with 3D effects . The music by Babith George is good at its best. On the acting front baring Sudheer who plays the character of Dracula, no one will amuse you. Sudheer did able to get into the skin of Dracula, with a suiting body and charm. At the end Dracula 2012 3D can be appreciated for the technology, however with all due respect to the hard work which goes into the making of this film, Dracula 2012 3D will not offer anything spectacular, be it a credible story or performances».
