Along comes a reporter (Kent Cheng) who uncovers the mystery, with the help of two eye witnesses: a beautiful librarian (Emily Chu), and a petty thief. The police inspector (Wong Pak Man), despite shooting the vampire a dozen times, setting him on fire, and watching him fall several stories and get back up, refuse to believe there is anything supernatural about him. Shot predominantly in blue for the large amount of night scenes, which gets visually monotonous. But otherwise it's a bloody, violent film with a number of entertaining action sequences. I could easily envision Kent Cheng doing a number of movies as the same character, in a sort of Hong Kong version of the American TV show The Night Stalker. He didn't, but hey, at least we've got this one».
