Giunti a destinazione, il dott. Rynning e i suoi si trovano in un monocromatico mondo primitivo in cui - sotto un cielo color seppia a causa di una strana fonte di radiazioni - cavernicoli vampireschi combattono contro dinosauri ed altri orribili mostri. Il regista Adamson (che fa, qui, anche una comparsata nei panni di un vampiro) non si è mai arreso alla penuria di mezzi. Questo film ne è una riprova. Virate in seppia le sequenze in bianco e nero di un non meglio identificato film filippino, vi ha agganciato scene con gli astronauti girate da lui stesso, intercalandole con numerosi spezzoni trafugati dal serial televisivo UFO e articolando il tutto su un canovaccio che vorrebbe riecheggiare le avventure alla Flash Gordon. Il risultato può essere considerato un esempio (da non prendere sul serio e da non imitare) dell'arte di "arrangiarsi". Il film è stato distribuito, con buona pace dell'ignaro spettatore, con una sfilza chilometrica di titoli alternativi...».

Scientists Carradine, Volante, and Dix learn of a vampire invasion from space and quickly build a rocket, shooting themselves to the vampire planet to stop the evil blood-suckers in their tracks. There they battle "claw creatures," "snake men," and "bat demons" (all from the other movie), and eventually save Earth. Believe it or not, famed cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond (Deliverance; Close Encounters of the Third Kind) shot all the original footage».
