This motion picture reunited castmembers Fred Gwynne, Yvonne De Carlo, and Al Lewis. Marilyn Munster was played by newcomer Jo McDonnell and Eddie Munster was played by child actor K. C. Martel. This television movie was produced as a way for a possible sequel to the series. It first aired on NBC February 27, 1981. The movie begins with the Munster family making a visit to the wax museum. The Munsters take a picture of them standing next to their replicas. When the family leaves, the statues in the museum come alive and commit crimes of terrorizing and stealing. The Munsters are then arrested for crimes they didn't commit. Herman and Grandpa try to clear their names in time for the Halloween celebration at the Munsters' home».
