C'è niente meno che Boris Karloff animato a pupazzino, nei panni del Baron Boris von Frankenstein e la trama è semplice: il dottor Frankenstein ha intenzione di ritirarsi e, per annunciare pubblicamente l’evento, organizza una convention di mostri (alla quale ovviamente non possono mancare la mummia, il lupo mannaro, l’uomo invisibile, il mostro della laguna nera, dottor Jekyll e Mr Hyde e Dracula, tra i tanti). Ma alla pittoresca riunione verrà fuori che il dottore ha di recente inventato un'arma soprannominata “il segreto per la distruzione totale”. The story begins as the aged Baron invites all members of the Worldwide Organization of Monsters to attend the unveiling of his ultimate creation, a potion capable of destroying all matter. Before the assembled guests -- including Count Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Invisible Man, and The Creature from the Black Lagoon -- Frankenstein announces his retirement as the group's leader and the selection of his successor: his bookish, allergy-ridden nephew Felix.
