Passano più di cent'anni, Anacleto è ormai un giovanotto, ma non ha ancora imparato a 'mordere' (si nutre sempre col biberon). Trascorsa qualche altra decina d'anni, l'avvento al potere dei comunisti costringe Dracula e il figlio a lasciare la Romania, via mare, nascosti nelle bare di due marinai. Gettati in acqua, come vuole il costume marinaresco, si salvano entrambi: il conte, però, finisce in Inghilterra, Anacleto in Francia. A Parigi il giovanotto, che è sempre alle prese col problema di nutrirsi - guai ai gatti che gli capitano a tiro - si impiega dapprima come guardiano notturno, poi in un mattatoio. Intanto suo padre ha fatto fortuna in Inghilterra, dove è diventato, interprete di se stesso, un divo del cinema. Quando la sua professione lo conduce a Parigi, Dracula e Anacleto si ritrovano. Svanito, però, il piacere di averlo di nuovo vicino, il conte prova un crescente di-sprezzo per quel suo figliolo, che non sa fare il vampiro. A dividerli ancora di più, poi, arriva una graziosa pubblicitaria, Nicole, di cui si innamorano entrambi. Sarà Anacleto, dopo aver scoperto di essere diventato un uomo come tutti, ad avere la meglio e a sposare la ragazza. Quanto a Dracula, egli resterà polverizzato, ma forse avrà dei veri discendenti proprio nei figli di Anacleto».

Enchanted by her beauty, the Count decides to spare Hermaine's life by making her a mother rather than feasting on her blood. Consequently, Ferdinand is born.
