È un cortometraggio animato della serie Merrie Melodies, prodotto dalla Warner Bros. e uscito negli Stati Uniti il 9 febbraio 1957. Ha come protagonisti Bugs Bunny e Daffy Duck, e nel 1994 è stato votato 35° nella lista The 50 Greatest Cartoons da membri del campo dell'animazione. Diverse frasi pronunciate da Daffy - tra le quali "Mio mio mio!", "Sono un avido, non posso farci niente - è il mio hobby" e "Sono ricco - sono un taccagno felice!" - sono diventati slogan popolari tra i fan e gli studenti dello stile d'animazione di Chuck Jones e anche degli appassionati di Daffy Duck; anche la frase "Hassan affettare!" è diventata una citazione preferita. Il corto è stato inserito in due dei film raccolta dei Looney Tunes: Super Bunny in orbita! (1979) e Le 1001 favole di Bugs Bunny (1982). Nel secondo di questi è stata censurata la scena in cui Hassan taglia in due il cappello di Daffy con una spada. Il doppiaggio italiano del corto è stato estratto dal ridoppiaggio di Super Bunny in orbita!

Trama. Nel mezzo del Deserto Arabico, un ricco sultano ha conservato tutto il suo tesoro in una grotta e sta lasciando la guardia Hassan a controllarla. Mentre il sultano se ne va, Bugs e Daffy entrano nella grotta viaggiando sottoterra. Hassan vede il tunnel di Bugs insidiarsi sotto l'ingresso, ma quando cerca di entrare non riesce a ricordarsi il comando per aprire la porta. All'interno della grotta, Bugs e Daffy emergono dalla tana, credendo di essere arrivati a Pismo Beach. Le lamentele di Daffy sono messe a tacere quando vede le ricchezze. Determinato a tenere tutto per sé, calpesta ripetutamente Bugs per costringerlo a tornare nella tana. Intanto Hassan riesce infine a dire il comando corretto per aprire la porta ed entra, imbattendosi in un soddisfatto Daffy che sta spingendo un carrello pieno di ricchezze. Daffy gli chiede di chiamare un taxi. In risposta, Hassan cala la sua sciabola sulla testa di Daffy, dividendo a metà il cappello ornato di diamanti che indossa e anche una singola piuma sottostante. Daffy fugge in preda al terrore e utilizza una grande gemma per provare a corrompere Bugs perché lo salvi. Così quando Hassan arriva, Bugs finge di essere un genio in una bottiglia e di poter esaudire ogni desiderio della guardia se egli lo liberasse. Hassan estrae Bugs dalla bottiglia, e il coniglio dichiara che il tesoro è ora di proprietà della guardia. Hassan si tuffa nell'oro, mentre un contrariato Daffy schernisce Bugs.. ...».

As the Sultan leaves, the trail of a burrowing rabbit crosses the desert towards the cave. Hassan spots the burrow tunneling under the entrance of the cave and attempts to chase out the intruders, but has trouble remembering the command to open the door. Inside the cave, Bugs Bunny and his traveling companion Daffy Duck emerge from the burrow, believing they have arrived at Pismo Beach. Daffy's complaints about travelling underground ("What a way for a duck to travel; underground!") and that they're at the wrong place are silenced when he spots the riches. Determined to keep it all for himself, he stomps repeatedly on Bugs to force him back into the burrow. Meanwhile Hassan finally says the correct command to open the door and marches in. He is met by Daffy, who is wheeling a cart full of loot. Mistaking Hassan for a "redcap" (porter), Daffy asks him to call a cab. In response, Hassan brings his sword down on Daffy's head, splitting in half both the diamond-adorned hat he is wearing and a single feather underneath. Daffy chuckles nervously before he flees in terror and uses a large gem to try bribing Bugs into saving him, but Bugs is only concerned with dusting himself off from the earlier abuse from Daffy. ...».
