Her journey is short, and so is the film, but it still has a substantial wedge of cinematic history behind it. The Writer (Heikki Metsämäki), whose debut novel his publisher-to-be is refusing to buy, is crashing out in the Honolulu Bar in Orleans. In years of war, pacifism is not in fashion.
