«Inspired by the short story entitled Joan of Arc by Mark Twain, this
Wishbone episode finds the curious literary pooch back in the time of Saint
Joan, as he plays her friend Louis de Conte. In the present day, Joe and David
find themselves in a jam after losing their best soccer player on the team, just
as they are about to play in the tournament. Samantha becomes the fill-in
player, but will she be heroine or will she spoil the day? Meanwhile, while Joan
helps lead the French into battle with the English, Wishbone is at her side.
