Narra delle avventure di tre topi motociclisti antropomorfi marziani giunti sulla Terra. Composta da 3 stagioni (e da un sequel del 2006), la serie originale è stata trasmessa negli Stati Uniti tra il 1993 e il 1996; in Italia da Rai Uno, all'interno dell'edizione 1998 del contenitore Solletico), e successivamente da Rai Due e Odeon TV. Dal 24 agosto 2008 arriva in prima visione su Mediaset (Italia1) ogni domenica alle 10.00 la nuova serie Biker Mice from Mars del 2006. Tre topi motociclisti antropomorfi, Sterzo (Throttle) Turbo (Vinnie) e Pistone (Modo), scappano da una guerra scoppiata sul loro pianeta natio, Marte. Terminano il loro viaggio precipitando sulla Terra nella città di Chicago; qui fanno conoscenza con un'affascinante ragazza che svolge il lavoro di meccanico chiamata Charlene "Charley" Davidson e scoprono che i Plutarchiani sono sbarcati sulla Terra per impadronirsi delle sue risorse naturali. I Plutarchiani sono una razza aliena umanoide simile ai pesci e puzzolente il cui scopo è sfruttare le risorse naturali degli altri pianeti perché le loro le hanno ormai esaurite. Essi sono i principali responsabili della enorme devastazione su Marte che ha portato alla morte della maggior parte della popolazione dei topi marziani e la prossima distruzione della flora e della fauna di Marte. I Biker Mice riescono a scoprire che il maggior imprenditore industriale di Chicago, Lawrence Limburger, è lui stesso un Plutarchiano il quale si è mimetizzato sotto le mentite spoglie di un umano. Limburger gode dell'aiuto di malvagi come il sadico scienziato pazzo Dr Carbonchio e il suo aiutante Morchia (Greasepit) che cercano di rubare alla Terra le proprie risorse naturali per mandarle su Plutarco. Fortunatamente, i loro piani vengono puntualmente sventati dai Biker Mice alla fine di ogni puntata».

It is about three anthropomorphic mice motorcyclists named Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie who escaped a war on their home planet Mars. On the planet Mars, there existed a race of anthropomorphic mice who enjoyed Motorsports and had a very similar culture and society to that of human beings. At some point in time they were all but wiped out by the Plutarkians, an alien race of obese, foul-smelling, fish-like humanoids who exploit other planets for natural resources because they have wasted all of their own. Three survivors, Throttle, Modo and Vinnie, manage to find a spaceship and escape the Plutarkian takeover but they are soon shot down by a Plutarkian warship and end up crash-landing on Earth in the city of Chicago. There they meet a charming female mechanic named Charlene "Charley" Davidson and discover that the Plutarkians have come to Earth to steal its natural resources. The Biker Mice discover that Chicago's leading industrialist, Lawrence Limburger, is actually a Plutarkian who disguises himself as a human. Limburger enlists two henchmen, mad scientist Dr. Karbunkle and the idiotic Greasepit to help him steal Earth's natural resources and send them to Plutark.
